Babymel Diaper Bag and Kids’ Explorer Backpack

Caden & Charles has been the exclusive distributor for the UK Babymel Diaper Bags and Kids’ Explorer Backpacks for close to a year. However, I have yet to sit down and write about this wonderful and absolutely functional diaper bag.

Babymel Ltd was established in London in 2006 by Melanie Marshall and Suzi Bergman, the co-founders of luxury changing bag brand Storksak. The Babymel brand intends to offer parents a stylish and functional changing bag at an affordable price. Babymel launched its first collection in Spring 2007 with the introduction of the Amanda bag  which is a chic and lightweight shoulder bag. Four years later, this bag remains their best seller.

Not forgetting that Daddies are also care-givers to their babies, Babymel has wittily designed a Diaper Bag which is suitable for all Daddies called the Soho Messenger Bag. It comes in a Moss Green and a Grey Colour which can be seen in the picture attached below. The Soho Messenger is an updated version of the popular Babymel ‘Toolbag’. The Diaper Bag has been designed with the uniquely stylish Soho in mind and the Soho messenger is a cool casual man-bag with plenty of hidden extras pockets to keep baby’s gear and also personal belongings when bringing the baby out.

For myself, I have been using the Satchel Bag for the longest time. I have been using the Diaper Bag for more than 1 year. The Satchel is the perfect size for storing all your essentials. The Satchel is a stylish and fashionable shoulder bag which retains all the functionality of other classic Babymel styles. The Diaper Bag is lightweight and easy to carry around. It has so many pockets to keep all baby’s gear and also your personal belongings. The bag is currently on sale at Caden & Charles website at The offer is for a limited period only.

In Spring 2009, Babymel launched their innovative X2 for parents with twins, which won the i-parenting award for innovative products. They also introduced their patent pending stroller straps, which are now a popular feature on their range of bags.

Last year, Babymel UK designed a lovely range of kids’ backpacks which are colourful, eye-catching and attractive. Each backpack features padded shoulder straps, external bottle pocket, pen pockets, webbed grab top handle and wipe clean linings. The backpacks also includes a removable, insulated lunch bag made from matching wipe clean material, featuring an elasticated bottle holder, cutlery holder and grab top handle. Babymel Explorers are suitable for children aged 3+ years. All materials are Phthalate free. These kids’ backpacks make excellent Christmas presents especially for kids above 3 who are going back to school after the holiday season. Caden & Charles provides free gift wrapping and courier service should you decide to buy the bag as a Christmas present. We make it really convenient for customers who wants to purchase something for the little ones.
