Caden & Charles is very proud to say that we have been selected by Cheeky Britches to be their exclusive distributor in Singapore and Malaysia. We first came into contact with Cheeky Britches when we started stocking our baby gift sets and products at Takashimaya Shopping Centre in Singapore. Their baby clothes caught our attention because of a very large baby photo which was placed at their counter. They featured a very cute Asian baby, so we thought the brand was either local, Japanese or Korean. The adorable and colourful natural and organic baby clothes definitely enticed us.

We were very pleased to be introduced to Lucy Chan who was one of the founders of Cheeky Britches and we found out that the brand was actually an Australian designed and made brand. It was a great pleasure talking to Lucy and the bond we had continued from 2012 to 2013. A little background description of the brand. Cheeky Britches was founded and established in July 2011 by Giorgia Goddard and Lucy Chan. Giorgia was a graduate with a Bachelor in Fashion from RMIT, a renowned Australian University in Melbourne. Giorgia and Lucy had been longtime friends and found themselves taking the same journey on motherhood. They started the brand because they were so frustrated with the lack of original design and variety of natural fibre materials available in baby and children’s wear. Hence, they made a hard decision to start a brand which designed and manufactured gorgeous, original baby and children’s wear that was unique and without compromising the values of high quality, socially responsible, affordable and natural clothing for babies and children.

Caden & Charles has decided to work with Cheeky Britches because we share the same vision to provide natural, ethically made and organic clothing which were much safer and protected our babies and children from unnatural chemicals used in the manufacturing process of normal cotton babywear, which are found everywhere in the marketplace. You will find that many of your children’s clothes from famous designer brands are either Made In China or Made in Bangladesh, but the working conditions of the workers which these companies have for them are atrocious.

In the next 3 to 5 years, Cheeky Britches hopes to expand their business to include a maternity line. They also hope to stock their label in the USA, Europe and throughout Asia. They envision to become an international market leader for ethically made baby and kids wear and we hope to share the journey with them.
